TJ Lynch won his second 400 IH title with a time of 54.57. He also finished second in the HH with a time of 15.21. PJ Gillich finished 4th in the shot put with a throw of 49'2".
The 4 X 400 relay team of Nick Chiarella (51.9), Mark Viggiano (52.4), Brandon Zisa (51.2) and Sean Fitzgerald (50.4) finished 4th with a time of 3:26.31.

NJCTC Frosh/Soph
The Donovan Freshman and Sophomore teams had an outstanding day at the NJCTC Frosh/Soph Championships.
Winners included Marc D'Esposito in the soph pole vault with a Donovan Soph record of 12'0", Mickey Connell in the Frosh Pole Vault (10'0"), and Pat Loughrey in the 400IH with a Donovan Soph record of 58.8.
The Soph athlete of the meet goes to Marc D'Esposito with his win in the pole vault, 4th place finish in the long jump (17'2") and outstanding leg (55.8) on the 2nd place 4 X 400 relay.
The Frosh athlete of the meet goes to Mickey Connell for his victory in the pole vault and lead off leg (60.9) on the 4 X 400 relay.

Shore Conference
Donovan did well in several events including the 2nd place finish of TJ Lynch in the 400IH (54.59), the 5th place finish of Sean Fitzgerald in the 400IH (56.54), the 6th place finish of PJ Gillich in the shot put (49'8") and the exciting 4th place finish of the 4 X 400 meter relay team of Mark Viggiano (52.1), Brandon Zisa (51.3), Nick Chiarella (50.9) and TJ Lynch (49.1) in a Donovan season leading 3:23.85.

Ocean County Championships
The Donovan track team had a good day at the Ocean County Championships. Scoring 30 points the team was led by the exciting first place finish of the 4 X 400 relay team of Mark Viggiano (51.9), Brandon Zisa (51.3), Nick Chiarella (51.2) and TJ Lynch (50.1) with a team time of 3:25.05. For this effort they were named athletes of the meet.
Also scoring was PJ Gillich 3rd in the shot put with a 50'10" (3rd all time Donovan performance) throw and TJ Lynch finishing 2nd in the 400 IH (55.15) and 3rd in the 110 High Hurdles at 14.88 (second all time Donovan performance).

Ocean County Frosh/Soph Championships
Both the Frosh and Soph teams had strong showings finishing 4th in both meets.
The Soph team was led by Connor Delaney who finished 3rd in the 800 meter run (2:06.90) and 5th in the 1600 meter run (4:43.62).
The Soph Athlete of the meet is Connor Delaney for his two fine races.
The Frosh team was led by Taylor Groh who won the javelin, setting a new frosh school record of 131'7".
The athlete of the meet for Frosh is Ed Stone for his 4th place finish in the 3200 meter run.

The team finished with 17 points thanks to the second place finish of the 3 X Intermediate Hurdle Relay team (2:55.67) of TJ Lynch (55.32), Pat Loughrey (59.03-new soph school record), and Earl Mosely (61.32), The 4th place finish of the 4 X 200 team of(1:33.59) Mike D'Aloia (23.5), Nick Chiarella (24.1), Mark Viggiano (23.6), and TJ Lynch (22.6), the 4th place finish of the 4 X 400 team of Mark Viggiano (52.4), Brandon Zisa (51.5), Brian Leckie (54.6), and Sean Fitzgerald (53.1), and the 6th place finish of the 3 X Pole Vault team of Marc D'Esposito (11'0"), Shawn Strubeck (9'6") and Tyler Scimeca (9'6")
